Semi-OFFSET handle Alli Blunt: Semi-offset shape, a middle model between Mini Alli and Nippon Alli. Used by over 60% of hair stylists worldwide. It is a suitable handle for designers who favor offset handles or straight handles as well as those who use 30-60 degrees of distance between the blades when cutting.

OFFSET handles Nippon Alli: The most favored style by Korea Reeducation Centers or study groups. It is suitable for designers who do not place their thumb deep inside the thumb grip, but slightly place on it to use over 90 degrees of distance between the blades. As a scissors gripping method started in Korea, it is also suitable for designers who enjoy opening and closing of application scissors by bending the palm at 45 degrees.

The reason why the Alligator series launched 3 different shapes of handles for the same model is because most gripping methods in every reeducation centers in Korea use an application scissoring method in which the palm is 45 degrees bent and the thumb is slightly placed on the grip. This technique is an application scissoring technique used to cover the cuts in positions which are difficult to express with the existing scissoring technique. Designers who command this technique are concentrated in Asia, and Korea especially has the most frequency of use.

On the other hand, most designers in the Oceana region including Europe and America, unlike Korea, put their thumb in the grip and bend at their wrists to do the application scissoring.
